Optimum Coal Plans Johannesburg Listing To Raise Capital

Optimum Coal Holdings Ltd., a coal mining concern owned by black South Africans, Monday said it plans to float on the Johannesburg bourse during the first half of the year in order to raise capital.
The company has applied to list its shares on the main board of the JSE Ltd., and said a prospectus including full details of its offer will be published in due course.
Consolidated Goldfields Corporation is pleased to announce that the company will be resuming evaluation of the Pyramid Mine in Churchill County, Nevada. The Pyramid Mine is a high-grade underground gold-silver-lead-zinc stockwork-vein system hosted in altered volcanic rocks within the prolific Walker Lane structural zone.
Plans for an underground mine near Peak Hill have been boosted with the discovery of deep gold deposits.
