Coal of Africa, South African mining companies have signed the acquisition of 100 percent of the company NuCoal Mining coal mining. NuCoal Mining is a coal mining company to ZAR650 ($ 84.17 million).
Nippon Oil Corp. and Nippon Mining Holdings Inc. said Friday that they have agreed to merge April 1, 2010, as they step up efforts to win global business.
Randgold Resources Ltd. said AngloGold Ashanti Ltd. has acquired a 50 percent indirect interest in Moto Goldmines Ltd. for cash and both companies will be jointly responsible for developing the Moto gold project, which will be operated by Randgold.
