Canada Mining Investment, Rio Tinto investing $228-million in Quebec hydro

Global resources giant Rio Tinto PLC [RTP-N] said Tuesday it will spend $228-million (U.S.) to install a new 225-megawatt turbine at its Shipshaw power station in Saguenay, Que., as part of the company’s investment in what it calls quality assets.
