Century Peak Metals Holdings Corporation is entering into negotiations with Guangdong Province Gold Corporation on drilling contracts over existing and prospective mining properties of CPMHC’s subsidiaries.
In a statement, CPMHC said that Guangdong Province Gold Corporation, a state-owned company in the People’s Republic of China, is engaged in the management of the gold production industry in the Province of Guangdong.
According to David Wuson, director and corporate information officer of CPMHC, this presents another milestone for the company.
“We are very pleased to have secured consent from our board of directors to explore business opportunities with Guangdong Province Gold Corporation. We’re excited at the possibility of creating a strong partnership with a progressive company that operates in one of the most flourishing provinces in China,” Wuson said.
Zheng Jianhua, managing director of Guangdong Province Gold Corporation, was recently in the country together with 2 expert geologists to conduct an ocular inspection of Century Peak’s mineral properties.
“Our geologists agree that the mineral properties are promising. We’re looking forward to the prospect of engaging in a joint venture with Century Peak as there is obviously a lot of business potential in the Philippines,” said Jianhua.
