Joint Venture Coal Mining Company MEC Supply Coal To Tata Power

Middle East Coal (MEC) is a joint venture between the coal companies United Arab Emirates, RAK Minerals and Metals Investment (RMMI) and the UAE-based mining company Trimex. Middle East Coal (MEC) is in talks with Tata Power, the largest private power company in India. MEC has a source of coal mines that will be produced to supply coal to India.
Source of coal mines that will be used to supply coal to Tata Power is derived from coal mines in Indonesia.
MEC will start operating coal mines located in East Kalimantan province, Indonesian. Coal mining company is planning a coal production in the early stages of 2 million tons and coal production will be directed to the company’s Tata Power. MEC hopes the sale of coal to Tata Power will assist the MEC for finance coal mining exploration project which is estimated to reach $ 1 billion.
MEC mining companies coal production expected to reach 17 million tons. Coal production will be allocated to India 10 million tons, China’s surprise 7 tons of coal production and the rest will be allocated to the northern UAE emirate of Ras al-Khaimah.
