Anglogold And Randgold Joint Venture To Acquire 20 Percent More Shares Of Gold Mining Project In Congo

The funds will be issued by both companies to get the Moto gold mining stocks approximately $ 113.6 million. Purchases 20 percent stake in Moto gold mines, increasing the number of shares of both companies to 90 percent in the Moto gold project. Previously the two companies have acquired the gold mining exploration company Moto Gold Mines which has 70 percent stake in mining projects Moto.

AngloGold Ashanti CEO Mark Cutifani, said “This will increase our participation in the Moto Gold project, which is an important part of our future growth plans. Randgold CEO Mark Bristow, said “We see great value opportunity in the Moto Gold Project, which is one of the largest undeveloped gold deposits in Africa and has the potential to become a truly world-class assets with the latest discoveries of our other. It marks our expansion into new and exciting gold belt, and while the project is not without its challenges, the capital projects team Randgold, which would be responsible for Moto Gold Project is the same as those already successfully developed Morila and Loulo mines in Mali and current Tongon developing mines in Ivory Coast. ”

AngloGold Ashanti and Randgold said that they had received a commitment from the DRC government in terms of exploitation Kibali permits and licenses, and the DRC is the mining laws and fiscal regimes where the project will operate under a protocol that will be entered into between motto, Kibali ( Jersey) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo, and a declaration from the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
