Alton Coal Exploration Approval For Coal Mines In Southern Utah

Alton Coal mining company received approval from government regulators to exploration Utah coal mine in southern Utah. Exploration licensing coal mining after mining companies willing to provide guaranteed funds for mine site reclamation for coal to be on exploration.
Coal mine exploration is expected to produce 1 million tons of coal per year with a total area of 400 hectares of mines.
Utah Division of Oil, Gas and Coal Mining said that Alton would get the license to operate immediately after posting USD 6 million reclamation bond. The division said that the Coal Mine Hollow will drain the private reserves in three to five years, when the nearby mining companies hoping to land the federal.
